THE THAMES PATH
The Thames Path follows the river over 180 miles from the Cotswolds, through the glorious Oxfordshire countryside, eventually to Greenwich. The path, which can be followed by walkers of all ages, brings you through Goring and Streatley.
LARDON CHASE
Overlooking Goring and Streatley, this National Trust protected hill is perfect for a picnic and offers stunning views across the valley. Perfect for short walks of between 15 to 30 minutes.
THE RIDGEWAY
This ancient chalk ridge is often described as the nation’s most popular walk along Britain’s oldest road. The 85 mile long Ridgeway is the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, from the wooded countryside of Goring, the path meanders northwards through a particularly beautiful stretch of South Oxfordshire, on to Wallingford and beyond.
